Miss Israelian is a Child and Adolescent trauma specialist who treats anxiety and depression in children and their families by integrating several approaches including EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is recognized by the World Health Organization, The American Psychiatric Association, The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense as a preferred method of reducing trauma. This specialized therapy helps our brains heal from a negative incident much like how our bodies heal when we are injured. Our negative beliefs are released through bilateral brain stimulation.

“84-90% of single trauma survivors report no symptoms of PTSD after three 90 minutes sessions.” www.Emdr.com Zhenique specializes in treating children as young as 3, adolescents & their families coping with anxiety, trauma and depression. EMDR has a broad range of applications and modalities that can be a very gentle, positive experience right away.

Other techniques that I interweave include: CBT: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – to gain awareness and control over our thoughts, feelings and behaviors & IFS: Internal family systems – the attending to all of one’s internal “parts” and Guided meditation – repairs and creates new neural circuitry for measurable progress and permanent results.
