In our world today, we are exposed to many different life experiences; therefore, it comes with a lot of ups and downs. Our day to day life can be joyful and stressful,and that can leave us feeling overwhelmed at some point; and we will need someone to talk to outside of our circle of family or friends.
I work with diverse individuals with different mental health related issues; such as anxiety related disorders, depression, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem issues, identity related issues, grief/loss issues, parenting struggles, and other life/mental health issues.
As a mental health therapist, I believe that each individual is unique in their own way. Therefore, my counseling style differs from one client to another; however, my core counseling style is always about building respect and trust between us by setting up realistic treatment goals.
