I work with clients who want to stop feeling controlled by symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and depression. I have worked with survivors of multiple traumas including sexual assault, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, war trauma, and torture. I also work with postpartum women suffering from perinatal mood disorders, who feel themselves drowning under the weight of new responsibilities and who want to feel like themselves again. I help parents navigate the challenges of raising children effectively, and I often incorporate walking sessions into therapy to deepen integration of what is discussed in session.
I help clients learn to regulate their nervous systems, trust themselves, develop positive relationships, and build self confidence. I can help you understand your trauma and anxiety symptoms and move toward healing. My approach is gentle, empowering, and supportive. I am also certified in Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE).
If you struggle with self-criticism, loneliness, fear, or the sense that something is wrong with you, you’re not alone. Many people have trouble finding their own sense of goodness and self-worth, but we all have the power to heal from painful experiences. My passion is helping people on this journey. I look forward to connecting with you.
